VisiPass Review: An Honest Look at What It Does (and What It Doesn't Yet)

A transparent, self-written review of VisiPass — what the digital business card platform does well, what is still in progress, and who it's right for in 2026.

*Disclosure: This review is written by the VisiPass team. We've tried to be as honest as possible about what works, what doesn't, and who this product is (and isn't) right for. If you're looking for an independent third-party review, we'd encourage you to look for one — but while the platform is early-stage, this is the most detailed assessment available.*

VisiPass is a digital business card platform that creates native Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes. The core idea: your contact information lives in the most-opened app on someone's phone, updates automatically when you change jobs or numbers, and triggers a follow-up email after every new connection.

Here's an honest breakdown of what it gets right, where it falls short, and who it's actually for.

What VisiPass Does Well

Native Wallet Integration

This is the core differentiator. Most digital business card tools give you a profile link or a web-based "card" — but VisiPass creates a real .pkpass file that adds to Apple Wallet just like a boarding pass. On Android, it generates a Google Wallet pass.

The practical implication: when someone adds your card, it's in the same place as their credit cards and train tickets. They open it multiple times a week without thinking about it. A web link gets lost. A Wallet pass doesn't.

Live Card Updates

Change your phone number, job title, company name, or email — every device that has your card saved gets a push notification with the updated information. You don't need to reprint anything or ask contacts to re-add your card.

For anyone who has ever changed jobs and watched their networking contacts slowly go stale, this is genuinely useful.

AI Follow-Up Emails

VisiPass Pro includes automatic follow-up emails sent on your behalf after each new connection. They're personalized based on available context — name, where you met, any notes you add — and sent within hours of the scan.

The emails are written to sound natural, not templated. In practice, they're more likely to get responses than a generic "Great to meet you" message sent three days later.

GDPR Compliance

VisiPass processes data under EU infrastructure and is designed to meet GDPR requirements. For professionals in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, this removes a compliance concern that comes with US-based alternatives.

Pricing

Free tier: 1 digital card, basic QR and Wallet pass, no time limit.

Pro tier (€5.99/month): unlimited cards, AI follow-up, analytics dashboard, priority support.

Compared to competitors, this is on the lower end. Blinq charges ~$9.99/month for comparable features without Wallet integration or AI follow-up.

What Is Still in Progress

We want to be upfront about what isn't finished yet.

Team and Enterprise Features

VisiPass is currently best suited for individual professionals and small teams. Bulk card creation, admin dashboards, and enterprise SSO are on the roadmap but not yet fully built out. If you're looking to deploy across a 50-person sales team with centralized management, the tooling for that is still being developed.

Integrations

CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive) are planned but not yet live. Currently, you can export contacts from your dashboard — but automated sync to your CRM isn't available yet.

Review Volume

VisiPass is an early-stage product. We don't have thousands of G2 reviews or a Trustpilot score. We have users who are satisfied with the product — but we won't pretend we've reached the scale of Blinq or HiHello. If third-party social proof is the deciding factor for your purchase decision, we're not there yet.

Android Google Wallet Experience

Apple Wallet integration is seamless and native. The Google Wallet pass works, but the experience on Android is slightly less polished — the add-to-wallet flow has more steps than on iOS. This is an active area of improvement.

Sales professionals and BDRs: The combination of Wallet persistence + AI follow-up is a genuine workflow upgrade. If you meet 20+ people per week, automated follow-up saves hours.

Event marketers and conference speakers: Wallet passes scale well — you can share the same QR code with 100 people in a day and each one gets an automated follow-up.

Independent consultants and freelancers: The free tier is enough for individual use. A professional-looking digital card is a credibility signal that paper cards increasingly aren't.

DACH-market professionals: EU infrastructure, German language support, and GDPR compliance make VisiPass the best-positioned option for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Who Should Look Elsewhere

Enterprise teams needing centralized management today: The enterprise tooling isn't ready yet. Check back in Q3 2026 when we expect to launch the team dashboard.

Users who need deep CRM integration now: If real-time Salesforce sync is a requirement, the current export-based workflow may not be sufficient.

People who prefer a well-established brand with thousands of reviews: HiHello and Blinq have years of user reviews. If that social proof matters for your decision, we understand.

Pricing Breakdown

No setup fee. No per-user fee for individuals. The free tier has no time limit — you can use a single card indefinitely without paying.

The Honest Summary

VisiPass does one thing better than most alternatives: it creates a business card that lives in Apple Wallet and stays current. The AI follow-up is a genuine productivity tool for people who network frequently.

The honest caveats: it's early, enterprise features are still being built, and there aren't thousands of independent reviews yet. If you're evaluating for individual or small-team use and want native Wallet integration, it's the strongest option available in its category.

If you want to try it: the free tier has no strings attached.
